Ive decided im going to try and add as much of the railings as i can before painting as i would do them after and end up with chipped railings and ca everywhere. If i paint the tops a different colour it will be after the sides and ill just spend some time carefully masking. The instuctions...- Mark1

Made a start with a bit of the PE the ladder has had each step twisted so is at the right angle, Added some railings ,first lot ok but then hit a snag! Looks like a bit of chopping will have to take place.- Mark1

So as i have a new modelling room and a new desk its time to for my first build in there. Something that should be pretty straight forward,trumpeters 1/350 hms cornwall. So ive been on a mission to get my spare room sorted out and turn it into my modelling room,some shelving was needed and had these delivered on sunday about 4 hrs after i ordered them :smiling: another of the short ones still to build. Marks Airfix 1.72 severn class lifeboat.
Got a bit more done here, all the antennas are fitted, the two inner ones were added using 0.5mm plastic rod as they werent supplied in the kit. Back end is done, the two inner out of the four connecting rods were made of brass rod as the kit parts we weren't long enough. And as the stand was...- Mark1

Ive been meaning to get the spare room sorted for a while now so having this turn up in three boxes and living in the hallway till i do will get me motivated...hopefully. -
Marks Airfix 1.72 severn class lifeboat.
A bit more progress, all the railings are on now, the mast and scratched antenna on and painted,some more antennas to add yet and to use the technical term, some sticky out bits are now fitted to the back of the hull.- Mark1
