I think I've become a collector
Jep. I might not have built to much for to long but I have also been snagging a few along the way in my 'down time'. The Airfix Gannet being a good example. I sit and look at the stash once in a while and pick one out. open the box and have a look. put the lid on and this goes on for a while... -

Well Chaps, I guess I can say I am back on this project. I have just spent three days reposting all the photos so they can be seen with the naked eye. I have noticed that on the last incarnation, you could make a comment which came up in the OP's post. Now they come up as a post in their own right.. So if you see some misplaced/misaligned/confusing posts here and there, we now know why. :LOL: -

Got a coat of Ivory white on the bodywork and now waiting for that to dry... Humbrol at its best! Once I am happy with that, the read arches will be painted dark red along with the front wheel arches and the wheels....Wondering whether to do the running boards red as well.- Ian M

In a resent post that accidently got deleted, I touched upon an idea to try inject a bit more club house vibe and maybe a bit more life into the forum. Still a classic but a bit more modern than the last one I posted. The red is looking a bit funky in the pictures but trust me it is RED. You can just make out the positioning mark for the side lights. One of which vanished across the room. I might address the problem if/when I get the...- Ian M

I find these Emhar model trucks quite amusing. They build well and the fit is generally very good. Good plastic as well! The decals on this one were a challenge. What's on the Bench 2025
Here is the last two hours worth from my bench... I am now affraid to use any decal solutions to bed them into the "woodgrain" 14 decals on this one part! The name was one decal, cut that in two, as I did with the telephone number. So I could say 16 decals! More later if I (or it) survives! lol- Ian M

Cheers Paul I will try that next time... The decals are a bit old though so that didn't help. I have both Micro set and sol but rarely use the Micro set but yes blue first. A real good trick is to put the decals onto a drop of Johnsons clear, you know the floor stuff. lol. Point of reference...- Ian M

Well the other side was marginally better... Apart from the most obvious of places! grr. Oh! I forgot the number. the crinkling is the Micro sol which is still wet and not sucked down yet... Next are the stencils!!!- Ian M
