Thank you everyone for your support on the continuance of the build… recent updates on the bridge construction and overall base construction. Good evening everyone… Okay a new update..German troops geared up and armed…painting and weathering in progress on the howitzer…also found this little gem of a farm cart at a local model show this past weekend… started jazzing it up a little…this will become part of the overall scene,,stay safe...- Strenko J

good afternoon on a very icy cold wintry day here in Central Ohio. A few updates on the German troops working on gearing them up and the last photo is what I am going to scratch build for the base. T34/85 Tank in a village 1/35 Scale
John if you do end up removing it give this a try...its a Woodland Scenics product.....just have to bunch it together and glue it on. ...Your roof area is much larger than the one I did on a small vignette awhile back but it achieved the same purpose. Hope this helps- Strenko J

Can’t believe it’s been this long since I’ve updated and posted a picture. I just have been so busy this summer and fall, I put modeling on hold. Okay well here is the finished product... icicles for Mr Race,,,(hoping that he won’t bring out the blow torch to melt them all… Although the troops might like the warmth) all in all I am pleased with the end result to this little vignette- Strenko J

resin gun slings
has anyone tried these yet? curious about how to bend them to the shape to achieve drooping or folded over slings.. I see that they say to use heated water to make the bends but more so curious on the end result.- Strenko J

Thank you Allen and glad you are awake and sober for the moment at least..lol I used Woodland Scenics products using different colors of field grass and kind of just blended them together on the bench before cutting them into lengths and then attached them with white "Elmers" glue which was...- Strenko J

Definitely will not try my previous old school way Richard thank you Paul, John and Tim had a chance to paint the artillery..this is the result of my second attempt as the first attempt with the airbrush and just trying to freehand the camouflage resulted in rather large patches of white that...- Strenko J
