We have a green T-34! Ok, it's just the first coat, but more to come.

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

John, Lee & Gerry, thanks, life gets in the way of things sometimes. A bit more done, primer & pre-shade! Next up, 4BO green!

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

Progress has been to say the least, slow, thanks to a number of things, including another Aunt's funeral in Scotland. Here is where it is, everything built up on the hull & turret, the track links took a lot of sanding to remove the sprue attachments & ejector pin marks, which were on the flat...

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

Rick, Gerry & Lee thank you for your kind words, progress has been a bit slow over the last week or two. All I've managed to do are the two tow ropes & some of the individual track links, hope to get a bit more done soon.

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

A bit more progress, I've managed to fix the PE clamps for the fuel boxes, fiddly! The hull & turret had a few small gaps to fill, various small parts fitted to the hull, some other parts like the spare tracks & grousers will be added after painting. Next thing will be to add some wire to the...

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

Managed to get a bit more done, finished the turret, the roof needed a little persuasion to go in, but with a little pressure & left with a couple of rubber bands overnight fixed it. I had to remove & re-fix one of the periscope covers, so it was open, as the commander has no way of seeing out...

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

Hi Lee, thanks, hoping you can get started soon, you need something to relax after work. A bit more progress, the wheels, sprockets & idlers are done, a bit of sanding required, but nothing too serious, although Dragon did put all the sprue attachment points on the tyres.

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

Thanks Mark & John, The PE is a big improvement over the plastic part, feel like I've got my mojo back with this kit. With the weather being a bit poor I've got a bit more done, with the gun assembled & the turret going together. It's going together quite nicely despite the odd instance of...

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

As promised a photo of progress, the gun mantlet sanded & metal barrel fitted. The boxes are apparently additional fuel tanks, a version found only on early T-34's.

    What's on the bench 2022

And now for something completely different...... My nephew was given a Lego Technic Land Rover Defender by my brothers boss, they run a Land Rover garage. So I've been roped to help him, more parts than you can shake a stick at, lots of moving parts, we may be at it for some time!

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

Alan & Lee, so far so good, plenty of parts in the box, just a question of how many I'm actually going to use! A bit more progress, the upper hull has been attached to the lower, various hatches & other parts added. The kit gives two options for the grill on the engine deck, a solid plastic one...

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

Thanks guys, good to have you along, plenty of parts, mostly the tracks! The T-34 is certainly one of the iconic weapons of WW2, definitely the best known Russian tank. A start has been made this week, the lower hull having been built up with suspension transmission, fairly straightforward so far.

    Graeme's Dragon T-34/76 Model 1941 1/35

Here's my entry as the thread title says. The obligatory sprue shots. This will be pretty much out of the box, which has indy link tracks & some etch. The only addition is a metal gun barrel.

    What's on the bench 2022

Just thought we should start a new thread for the new year, judging by there being 58 pages on the old thread. If one of the mods could close the old thread, thanks. Slow progress continues on my Cromwell, not far off paint though.

    What's on the Bench? 2021

I've managed to find something that has been rare of late, Bench Time! A bit of work has been done on the Cromwell, added some etch & filled holes where etch parts are going instead of the kit parts.

    What's on the Bench? 2021

Just about got my Panzer IV70(A) finished, having languished untouched for a while. Made it quite muddy, as if during the winter of 44-45.

    Plastic Hoarding

I heard on the radio today, that 62% of people hoard plastic items in drawers etc. I'm looking at my stash with some concern.......

    What's on the Bench? 2021

On my bench at the moment is... The Panzer IV/70(A) that I've been doing since god knows when, a bit of progress though, decals done & weathering in progress, the idea is it's going to be a muddy version. While I was away on holiday this week, I made a start on a Tamiya Cromwell with an etch...
