    Update, Got the base coat onto all the parts that needed it and set it aside toy dry - 24 hours later gave the whole lot a wash with W&N Burnt Umber and have let that dry out for 36 hours.     EMA plastic weld ?

    Hello Bob, EMA liquid is the best I can reccomend, have used it for over a decade. Only problem with it is that it disolves fast if you leave the lid off and it will put you to sleep if using it in the cupboard under the stairs. I usually buy it in a 12 bottle box or by the tin and decant it...

    Update, Turret is now under a coat of primer and ready for the base coat. So while that was drying off, I reworked the GPMG (call it what you want it is still a GPMG). The camera would not go down far enough for the focus, so had to put the pics through photoshop. Not happy with the gas...

    Update, The turret build is now complete and ready for priming and paint. The items like the m/g mount and antennaes will be added seperately. Bit like showing the boring holiday snaps - and here is one of little Jimmy learning to swim with the Dolphins - never realised Dolphins had teeth...

    The two sights on the top of the turret for the Cmdr and gunner have been made up, painted and will be added after the basecoat is laid down... I have also started adding the armoured glass for the turret.... Three more to go and that is that little job out of the way - next it will be adding...

    Upgrade, The top/non slip has been completed except for one small peice near the drivers hatch which will be added once the new hatch is complete... New air filter added just ahead of the turret ring, soon to add the details. One item I missed when showing my tools was the most important apart...

    Update, First these are my tools apart from the etch bending jig that I use for the bigger items for bending and assembling brass.... From left to right, Two extra pairs of tweezers, they are on hand to replace fingers when trying to handle the smaller parts and for bending where smooth face...

    Update, Still progressing slowly on this build, but getting there. Yesterday I built up the front bumper - 23 peices - and now along with the tow rope now in primer. The shock absorbers are now fitted and the ride height has been set... Shock absorber ready for mounting... All fitted into...

    Update, The lower front plates are now attached... ...and like the last image in the previous update are treated to the 'washer/bolt head' parts. which comprise of 10thou plasic discs punched out and .85mm bolt heads from the same material. And that is where I am today.... A few detail images...
