Hi all, paint is now on and there is some touching up to do. I ended up masking off the interior as the sponge method wasn't cutting it, so it took longer than I expected......worth the wait though. after this dries good I'll hit it with some gloss and get the decals on. At last , the end is near.........just have to locate the front and rear axels and this baby is ready for paint. First step will be to shoot all the interior and then it will be the outside after much masking and who knows what to keep the top coat from interfering with what's on the inside...- Mini Me

Another First - 1/35 CH2 TES.
Sorry for the late response Doug, here's what the twisted wire method should look like when done. Depending on the gage of the strands and the number of strands used, will determine the final diameter of the cable, I used 7 strands to achieve this in 1-87 scale so yours may take a considerable...- Mini Me

Not much to report, just working on the railing for the roof rack. I have all the easy steps done, now it is a matter of bringing it all together at the back end. Crew bench is in and once the glue sets I'll carefully sand down the stubs of the legs that are poking through the bench top. This just landed on my doorstep. Once again evilbay has struck me down......absolutely insane offer on these, a long sought Phanomen Granit 1500 ambulance and a Bussing 4500 with a 3 ton Bielstein crane the rest is just fodder for modeling artillery and anti tank stuff also some 1-350 ship... -

Not a whole lot to look at here.....got the hitch located, built a back step and installed the grenade screens on the windows and back doors. I'll continue on with more interior details....I just hope I can keep from damaging what I've already built. A very delicate thing this Granit!- Mini Me

I actually have seen wartime photos of the krauts loading a JU 52 in this fashion, as crazy as it seems......it apparently works.
