    Youtube ad blocker

When I tried to read this post yesterday it wouldn't diplay the content but showed an error message that said using an ad blocker might be one of the reasons it couldn't show the post. So my ad blocker was stopping me from reading about ad blockers? Sounds fair!

Very thin custom made transfer stickers?

I can't answer your question, but I'm very interested to see someone do it. Lee

    Tudor House

Nice one Stephen! Reminds me of a trip to Lavenham many years ago. One of the best places to see buildings like this. Are you building a diorama?

    3D printer

Are you looking at resin or fdm printers? I have one of each. An old Ender3 which is an fdm printer. A plastic "wire" is fed through a very hot nozzle to extrude liquid plastic at 0.4 mm dia. It then draws your design in 3D. The prints are very strong but the detail is a bit weak. I also have an...

    Winter

I remember snow that deep in 1963 here in the UK. As a 10 year old boy I enjoyed it. I don't think I would enjoy it now!

    Winter

I wouldn't say Cornwall was warm at the moment, but I didn't bother wearing a coat yesterday when I took a friend to Morrisons. Luckily, the rain I saw when standing at the checkout had stopped by the time we left the shop. Ian M, your avatar reminds me of the time our 2lb (just under a kilo)...

    The Northern Lights over Cornwall

I missed this, but luckily a friend took these pictures. We had that massive storm a few weeks back, and now this. Lee

    Winter

We in Cornwall were hit by very high winds a day or so. I was staying at a friends house to make sure she was OK during the storm and there was also a power cut. I went home the next day to see if my house had survived the ninety mile an hour winds. I had. But my greenhouse didn't. This is how I...

Does a 3D Printing section exist here?

I have been a member for about a week-ish. Most of my model making is done by 3D printing the parts. I design the 3D printed parts in CAD programmes. It would be useful to swap ideas etc with other 3D printer and CAD users, so does a dedicated section exist or is there a section I should use? Lee

Hello to all, and a Merry Christmas

Wow! an overwhelming welcome. Many thanks to all of you. I made this for a friend, Marian, who was 90 in June. I 3D printed it in pla on an Ender3 except the Robin which was printed in resin. The pipe is copper wire with a small piece of wood as the bowl. Lee.

Hello to all, and a Merry Christmas

My name is Lee and I hadn't built a model for 40 odd years until 3 years ago when I decided to build four 1/10th scale models of my 1930 Austin Seven special. One for me and one for each of my sisters. I will try to post a picture of the car. The real car 35 years ago. And now a few pics of...
