    After a bit of biding my time I finally landed this. Academy base kit plus Eduard goodies, usually see them go for silly money, but got this delivered for £60, considering the base kit new is more than that and 2nd hand usually goes for about £50 I think I did alright.

    Plenty of small planes with spinny bits out the front for this one so a good chance you'll finish this one too. I usually play GBs safe with a smaller subject, but for this I shall be a bit more daring.

    Karls Tamiya 1/24 Caterham Super 7

    Nearly done. Note to self, don't drink and model...... A few little bits to do tomorrow then I'm calling it done. The kit itself has a bit of a toy vibe, a lot of snap fit at the front wishbones, the steering is workable and it wouldn't take a lot to have it turn the steering wheel as well...

    Been pottering around a bit and getting close to the finish. Amongst other small prep/sub assemblies I got the windscreen masked and painted, no special ticks, just Tamiya yellow tape, a toothpick and a fresh scalpel blade.

    Slow going on this, between work, dealing with my fathers ill health and the Rugby....... So a bit of priming, the chassis bit needs 3 different colours applied so a bit of masking off there before spraying those. And the nose got primed white then a coat of Tamiya Lacquer yellow. Which was...
