RAF uniform blue
Thanks for the advice guys, So Last night I figured I should be able to mix up a 'random' RAF uniform blue, can't be that hard can it ? started with Vallejo model air Blue (71.004) and added some violet grey (71.128) and light grey (71.414) and to the mix until it looked 'about' right, ended...- langy71

Currently just about finished with my Kotare 1/32 Spitfire and fancied adding a pilot to it to give it some 'life', grabbed a nice resin pilot, but I seem to have hit a snag with which brand makes the closest looking RAF uniform blue, I've read all manner of posts around the web stating this...- langy71

Just been gifted this, Sadly the father of one of my ex girlfriends from over 30 years ago passed away last year, and whilst clearing out his model train room they found all sorts of modelling stuff, tools, paints....etc etc, amongst them was this, the Tamiya 1/12 scale Lotus type 78 race car... -

smoke grenade covers
Guys, In an attempt to move my Abrams build along a tad I was wondering how to make covers for the smoke grenade launchers fitted to the side of the turret, what do you normally use, I've tried a couple of time to have a go but they just don't look 'right'. pics would help if you have any.. thx- langy71

Veteran ID card
Maybe this may be useful to some of you old Vets on here, A while ago the governement announced it was going to start producing an actual Veterans ID card, I'm guessing it helps to put a stop to 'stolen honour' which any Vet will know is when a 'fantasist' ot 'walt' takes glory in claiming... -

Funny you say that Michael, I thought the colour looks 'washed out' on the pics, so I had a play with the brightness, and got it to look more like it does on th bench.- langy71

Been plodding along with this for the last two/three months, Nothing much to say other than it's a brilliantly designed kit, there are various options for differing versions, goes together quite easily but you've gotta follow the instructions, all four sections of them, as the build sequence...- langy71
