Well seem to have a building ready for painting. Hey, said I was better at ruined building than habitable. Didn't say I was any good at either, lol. As I said it's based loosely on the Budapest photo, though hadn't realised till I finished just how loosely.- andy55

OK more pics, now have the gun finished and mounted. Unfortunately my big mouth (maybe there's no crew, cause they've already done a runner) has started me thinking. It's an artillery piece on a bus. Buses have problems going over rubble, collapsed buildings... hummm. Rethinking the diorama.- andy55

Well got the bus/gun platform/transport finished (or will have when I decide about the windscreen) decided to keep the shell storage field grey, doubt who ever resprayed them would bother to open the doors. The gun is also finished, though still to camo and detail paint. Have left the 'steady...- andy55

Another update. Got the bus/gun transport painted. Still have the detail and weathering to do on it. The base colour has turned out darker than intended. Think I may of been better using panzer grey then the camo on top, but hey, rule 7 says "my model, my colour scheme"... whilst there are...- andy55

Well thought I'd give an update. Because a lot of the chassis is visible I'm building a bit then priming and base coating. So far seems to be working OK. It really is a joy to build, everything goes where it's supposed to do and fits perfectly. I did learn very early on that that bit of flash...- andy55

Hi Allen, must of been a good do at first, following Hitler around suppling flak cover, bet they got a shock later on though... apparently the whole battery consisted of around 125 men with all the support crew, aiming and command etc. No the extra fender support isn't on the model. Yep, through ducky fit when I first saw it. Is that difficult it'll break my heat if I get it wrong... lol. Got some more done. Seem to have a lot on at the moment so progress is slow. Got the chassis finished and engine built up, spent a couple of evenings trying to add the injection pipes...- andy55

Got on quite well this weekend, got the chassis and rear suspension done and primed. As Andy T said it went together well with no surprises. A few places it uses the 45⁰ joint, which personally I'm not keen on. That aside very well molded with parts fitting together nicely. Now something I've...- andy55

Saw this and well, just had to get it. After building the AFV 88, seem to have gained a liking for the 88... It's all new tooling and the moulding seems to be pretty good. AGV Flak 88/18
I'm in the process of building the above. Lots of small parts and thick connections between parts and sprue, but manageable. The question though is the bogies have what appears to be cable drums fitted. But what are they for... I've only managed to find one photo showing the drums but too grainy...- andy55

Tank tracks
Update: got the wheels on and got the first piece of track on. Put it on with the tape still attached and then extra thin round the edges. Took it off for the glue to cure a bit and remove the tape, then back on till it sets completely. Hopefully there'll be enough spring in it to get it off...- andy55

Tank driver
How do you get the driver in the seat. Have noticed this on the few models that I've built, the driver needs to be a contortionist to get in the seat let alone drive... its the T60 tractor from miniart with the Pak 40. Had to cut the poor buggers legs off to get him in. What am I doing wrong.- andy55

Holding figures for painting.
Saw this on YouTube and improved it ???. A lot of people on here, me included seem to have difficulty holding figures for painting. Tank tracks
I've got the MiniArt T60 tractor with Pak40 and crew. Looks to be a nice model with some fine detail... however the tracks are 'push together' what is the best way to deal with/build the tracks. Have just put an IBG panzer II on the back burner. The tracks were a nightmare. Ended up glueing them...- andy55
