Masking is off and decals done. The decals are Cartograph so as you would expect they are well printed and lay down well. I have been doing touch ups to the paintwork. For this I am using Panzer Putty. It is perfect for this local masking (as well as free flowing two tone camo such as RAF schemes).- BarryW

I have airbrushed the underside. I will spray a little detail on the underside before masking up to do the topside. MRP038 was used, Light Ghost Grey. Incidentally, before this I sprayed the nose cone Dark Ghost Grey before masking it up.- BarryW

The Port stab broke off. The solution was to drill a hole to use a metal pin. Easy enough solution Above, the pin inserted and glued in with c.a. and below, the stab fitted back and its stronger than before. . More lumps and bumps fitted. I also decided to fit the nose cone at this stage...- BarryW

After gluing into place the rim of the canopy I decided to sand off a mould line. First some sanding with a fine 1000 grade sanding sponge to remove the line. After that I used 2500 grit sander then a 4000 grit polisher. Below is how it looks now As you can see its far from perfect so I...- BarryW

I have been working on a few subassemblies including the 'spine' as you can see below it is in two pieces with a join that is hard to sand without destroying some detail. It does fit perfectly into place though. The wheel wells have a lot of parts but build up beautifully- BarryW

Too late for that Steve. Removal of the decals destroyed them. If i knew they would not fit in the first place I might have done that.
