Well I am back at the bench restarting work on this kit after nearly six months. Working on the inner wings and this is how my bench looks right now… I must say I don’t find it easy to pick up after so long but it’s onward and upwards.- BarryW

Well here is my latest purchase. My Formula One wheelchair (as a mate called it). it speeds along at a whole 8mph, it raises me almost to standing height and can carry me for about 15 miles. It’s actually a Permobile M3 with all the necessary ‘add ons’ so it cost a small fortune but it’s worth... -

In built up the tail/stabs and then realised that they won’t slide onto the location points due to protrusion from the flap attachment. You were meant to attach the flaps after sliding the tail on. More progress. The canopy fitted very well. I did have some minor adjustments to make to the inner frame but nothing to worry about. Reviews suggest that the top inserts are a little too wide for the fuselage. Solutions tried include using plastic sheet to make the fuselage wider. did...- BarryW

I found that the top-rear insurt fits perfectly. Glued into place I then attached some aerial and a screen. I have also been working on the internal canopy framing getting it ready for airbrushing. There is just a little filler needed in three places where the fuselage joins will show...- BarryW

Well our ship has had a minor prang in Puerto Deseado and needs some repairs. Looks like we will be here for a day and will miss the next scheduled port. Had a run ashore yesterday with my son and had a delicious steak! Anyway this sign amused me. I will say nothing more about it. -
