Primed with Mr Surfacer 1000. First time I have used it and am very impressed: Pre-shade with MRP Nato Black: Then a mamoth session with the MRP Tank Grey. Progress is seeming slow at the moment, but lot’s of PE detail to add that is much better than the kit offering. I did think my PE and soldering was improving, and then this ladder came along…I‘m not particularly happy with it, but think it will pass with some paint. Not completely fantasy that...- Jack L

Thanks Neil. Cheers Rick Thank you Bob, unfortunately, Eggs were in short supply at this stage in the War! I got impatient and tried to ignore the loft temperature for a bit, but weathered the cab to a level I'm actually chuffed with. The 'wet' is just where the oils haven't quite dried...- Jack L

Another day off today so flying through the build. Very sore arm still, but not hindering too much. A fair bit of fiddling with the cab, which I think I am now happy with. Thanks all for the early interest. Bit of a sore arm this evening after my first Covid jab, but still managed some progress, mostly sanding and filling. Boiler halves together, generally a good fit but did need some Mr Dissolved Putty run along the seam and some sanding. Figure in for scale...- Jack L
