..... So,here be a bit of progress.. A bit of etch going on there... You may notice that this is a bit disjointed... But Rach wouldn't let me model upstairs over Christmas!! :( Next... Well guys, I've done a bit more.. Assembled the pilot.. Looks pretty good, only slight adjustments needed :smiling3: .. Some etch put on there.. A brief update as I'm moving on this evening... ..... Put on a Flory wash,rubbed it down and removed the masks... Quite pleased how the panel lines came out, although as you can see,I need to touch up some of the darker camo patches, lastly for now... Even though it's taking me AGES to get...- The Smythe Meister

This'll be my first ever attempt at rigging,and I'm going to do it using this stuff... Watched a bit of a tutorial on it by Phil Flory and thought I'd give it a go.... seemed to be quite a "user friendly" method,and very inexpensive if i can't get it to work .- The Smythe Meister

A bit more done... It's certainly not the kind of kit we're all used to,however, it's definitely one that can turn out to be quite satisfying... A brief update,got the cockpit in and joined the two halves,and wings.... Yes,it needs a lot of clean up seam wise,and some teasing into position of some parts, but not a hill of beans. Don't forget also,that it's an old,and relatively,cheap kit... all I wanted was an half decent model of one...- The Smythe Meister

? .... Some progress,for a rather maligned kit, it's not that bad! Those decals went down well,(there's half a dozen just there!),the fit of the fuselage halves doesn't appear great, after a dry fit,so I'm doing it in stages ;)- The Smythe Meister

Thanks guys, appreciate you looking in :thumb2: , So then,an update... Masking was completed, took AGES, Then.... Black,(partially), applied there,then.. Unmasked,yep, some bleed did appear, however, nothing that can't be sorted :)... I've also started the the camo, but I've reached total...- The Smythe Meister

Well,as I'm now in the marathon that is painting the camo on my He219,I think it's a good idea to have another build that I can go across to for when I get burn out from it.Much better to do it in stages, just so it doesn't become a bore!
