This is so close to being bucked in the bin........ 9 goes with Micro-sol........nine! And I still have to put another decal on top.......... Time to start cutting masks for roundels, really like the look of the dspiea (sp?) circle cutter, but it's not cheap. In lighter news I got the spinner...- KarlW

Alternative decal setters
Been using micro sol/set for a while but it is failing me a bit lately with some Tamiya decals so I was wondering what alternatives people are using? I'm thinking of getting some Mr. Mark Setter (Is the Neo an improved version?)- KarlW

Sat flicking through eBay and I found laser cut flying stands, 3mm clear acrylic. My current Spitfire is wheels up and I have only thought about making a base so decided to give these a go. (The scorching is on the protective film.) And then while deciding what to build for the Pacific Carrier... -

Two more in my alclad armoury, the armoured glass is supposedly very good for giving that green tint to clear parts. Though it's a very big bottle for all that'll actually get used..... -

New floor for the shed, I had put down EVA tiles but they're a bit soft for scooting my chair about, kept checking the clearance items in B&Q and found this laminate for €15....would of been rude not to buy it. -

Kit selected, plus a section of carrier deck from Eduard. Seriously considered one of the Japanese "sisters" but that'll mean buying a kit and possibly paint. This is in the stash and I have paint already.- KarlW

Started decaling, was hoping to have this finished before the new year but a bit of temporary deafness coupled with vertigo and kidney stones sort of kept me away. There's a common complaint that Tamiya decals are a bit thick and on this you have to double up the roundels...... Get a few more...- KarlW

Virtual Club meetings
Just a thought, have we tried having online meetings? With all the online meeting tools available these days it wouldn't be a stretch. The hardest bit would be agreeing on a time. Maybe once a month, from the bench in your home. -
