Long day at work so short time at the bench, left at 0630 got home at 1830 to do a job I could of done on Friday and then one another engineer could of done yesterday. Need to buy my planner a map. First up is actually going to be a shelf queen from my son's BoB group build entry that he lost interest in due to Fortnite. He started that here. I had already smoothed the seams and masked the canopy so time to get that glued on and squirt primer at this.- KarlW

Paint racks... what you using ?
I also use the HobbyZone racks, have 5 of them on the wall, these two are temporarily empty. But I have been looking around as HZ don't cover all bases and EBMA seem to hit the mark for my other types of bottles. -

Another eBay "bargain" but again bad decals, I have decals to paint this as a USAAF p-51b but I don't want to so off for replacement decals I go..... -

No going back now......
Sort of commited myself to using new paints by selling all my Vallejo Model Air.......the Model Colour will still be used for the hairy sticks though. (Need new racks as well now.....) -

AK Interactive Real color, anyone used them?
Discovered AK do a lacquer paint, easier for me to get hold of than MRP but a bit more expensive (1/2 price for 1/3 product.) Their blurb says they can be mixed with other brands lacquers and you can use any of the thinners out there, even marketing their own thinners as "Highly compatable" And...- KarlW

Anti glare panel done RAF dark green close enough to the OD. And I've just realised the stars and bars are missing from the decal sheet, so off to find spares or a mask.- KarlW

Mr. Tool Cleaner.
That bottle you see is the green stuff world cleaner that I use for acrylics, which it is designed for. The Mr Tool Cleaner is a Gunze product, now I've read the label it does warn about melting plastic, but I never even noticed the English text until now......- KarlW

Mr. Tool Cleaner.
I recently picked up a bottle of my tool Cleaner and am quite impressed with it for cleaning the airbrush. However, I put a bit into a plastice shot glass to soak my cleaning brushes, come back a bit later and....... I now have a gooey mess comprising of what used to be a plastic shot...- KarlW

Have had these Alclads in the tool box for about 7 years, first time using them today, don't know what I was scared of. Got an F-86 and a Mig-15 that have just jumped up the build queues.- KarlW

Priming done, used Alclads micro filler primer, had read that these primers not great but it sprayed straight from the bottle with no issues. Now to check things over.- KarlW
