    Here we go!

Though we have gotten our usual snows up to now, (Great Lake effect snows) 2, 3 or 6 inch weekly "snow showers" as we call them, are quite common this time of year. We in these mountains take them easily in stride, but this one storm on coming promises to be something special...YIPEE...

    Jim's Re-Hab center.

Grabbed a couple of ancient dust shelf denizens and decided to give them new life. I usually do this when I get bored or frustrated with current projects and need to cleans the palate a bit. Grant tank was a project my son built as a boy, it's the old Tamiya kit. Decided to strip her down and...

A lovely day for a war.

I'd like this one to show the irony of this world by juxtaposing a beautiful garden wall draped in greenery and flowering vines (if I can swing them) with a couple of willows set just inside of it against the ugly, beastly machine of death, destruction and mans frustrations. Wish I had more...

    Kugleblitz

A rare piece, not many made, questionable combat history, but it has the distinction of being the first fully turreted mobile AAA produced in any numbers, only a few hundred me thinks:thinking: Thanks for tuning in....Jim:hugging-face:

Respect.... From one Bear to another.

Two Russian Bears meet, a salute and a nod and they both go about their business.

    Clipped Cromie

Another "what if". A turret holed Cromie bucked up to carry some triple A, now being used in desperate ground support role for routed German Army very late in war. ground support role for routed German army very late in the war. Whenever I get a bit stale on a more involved project (T72) I tend...

    Weathering a T72....."Jim's Way"

Here's what's happened thus far, slapped her together somewhat except for tracks and kept top and bottom hulls separate. Prepped some "soft" stowage, left out big searchlight because I felt like it. Banged up the fenders and mud guards a bit. I use the cheapest acrylic water based craft...

    Current projects on the bench.

Just a few things I've got going on, first off is a weird conglomeration of modifications made from two old Italeri HEMMT tanker truck models. First off it was made into a log forwarder by lengthening frame and adding third axle, axles were narrowed to accommodate duel wheels. Flat bed scratch...

    Slugged Stug

Got a Stug.....gonna slug the hell out of it.... something along these lines Don't worry, no dead tankers in this one. Maybe just a curious yank taking a gawk. Have seen AFVs opened up like tin cans, will try to recreate something half believable anyway. There is an internal...
