Well,now that my Beaufort's finished,and I've just got the tiny I-16 Type 18 on the go,I need to choose my next victim :thinking:.... Then I got a brave and exposed some masks,(gotta say,I was a bit concerned about this bit!!)... .... Removing Decals
Mike...... .... You Sir,are a legend!! Got some sellotape out of the garage and less than 5 minutes later I went from this.... .... To this..... They lifted off effortlessly and absolutely no damage to the surface underneath what so ever :thumb2: . Can't thank you enough mate:hugging-face:.- The Smythe Meister

Removing Decals

Slight update with this one, some paint around the cowlings and other bits.. .... It's also now on my new,Posh, aircraft stand. :) .... .... Latest Acquisitions (2023)
Hi chaps, Got fed up with my Wingy things teetering on my improvised stand,so finally bit the bullet and got one of these,which has just arrived.... This is large enough for 1/32 planes,so,as I do 1/48, it should suit my needs for my larger types :thumb2:- The Smythe Meister

.. well I hope this update is more successful than the previous with images.. .. it may not look much,but this undercarriage stuff is VERY thin/fiddly,and takes an age to get together,done one,made mistakes, hopefully the second will be flawless?!!:flushed:.... ... ..... so then,there has been progress on this one,Guns are on,as are the ropes.More grime added, are some chipping,then a coat of matt varnish..... ... so, once the varnish has cured it's a case of a final wash, adding some mud,earth and ground up shrubbery, mainly around the tracks/running...- The Smythe Meister
