    Italeri schwimmwagen in 1/35

    Just started this to go on the dio, first impressions, certainly not a Tamiya in fit or quality (first part off the sprue will need filling where there's a hole left from an air bubble in the plastic) and there's going to be a lot of guessing as to where some parts should be fitted.

    Just arrived from the shop today The Studebaker for the future Russian dio, and the schwimmwagen (didn't realize that the schwimmwagen came with all 3 figures and the bike shown! :surprised: ) to fill the hole left by dropping the half-track out of the current dio Thanks 'admin' John :thumb2:

    Still planning and trying to figure out a dio which is going to need deep snow (about the equivalent of 2 feet) and not sure how to get that sort of effect, so now asking the experts.

    Road just needs to be changed from 'sandy' to 'local rocky' (slight colour change needed), the rest is starting to take shape. Lots of 'talus' to be painted and placed

    Impatient as ever, trimmed off the cling film, put the pool base in, replaced the water and took a flash photo - not looking too shabby, if I say so myself (now edited, taken out the flash picture, and replaced with a couple of daylight ones)
