Airfix Bentley 1/12 not a great start

Yes the camo is all wrong, but I got a pic of a group stood from about that time, and they were all in overalls and a UN beret. Those figures helmets don't have to go on, so I'm hoping I can bash berets for them. And painting the overalls in the colour of the guys in the pic from that time ... -

42 year old ship model, still not finished.
Hi guys. I'm taking a break from my numb fisted attempt at a 144 Tornado, and dug this out. My wife gave me this about a year or so before we married, and we had our 40th last September. I think it's the rigging and using the loom to make the rope ladders too that kept putting me off. But...- ColinW

I'm up to the undercoat stage and I'm a little worried the panel lines look very shallow. Fingers crossed they show up as I hoped.- ColinW

Army painter airbrush matt varnish.
Hi guys The ad for this says it can be brushed on too, has anyone used this with a brush? . And can I put transfers on it, or does it have to be gloss to put transfers on? Cheers all -

My first 1/144 model Plane, The Tornado by Revell.
I've managed to make a start on my first 1/144 Tornado, and I'm enjoying it. Twice I nearly lost a tiny part to the carpet abyss, but I got lucky, must be a good omen. Iv put the cockpit together with some basic painting and fixed the outer nose around it. Looks like the nose will need a little...- ColinW

Thoughts on 1/144 scale.
Morning all. Just as a way to save on space it has been suggested to me to try 1/144 scale. Now I got myself a Revel tornado just to see myself and I was pleasantly surprised on how good it looked, or is That just me?
