    x-14 tamiya .. mi-24 hind

    back in the day ....

    :smiling:good to see the thread has stimulated some fond memories ... some other stuff i found ..... i did have a tub of pins with bobbles as the head but those have gone awol it seems .... the smell of balsa wood glue certainly stimulated a few memories .... :rolling: the little wooden thingee...

    my dad was a keen modeller and whilst he built a few plasticy ones (i fondly recall a zero 1/32 and an mtb) was very keen on the balsa wood stuff .... many a fine hour was spent flying his prop driven models or gliders using a fishing rod and line to launch them and then haring off down the vlei...

    fixed my canopy with thanks to all the suggestions .... it looks ok. i must admit if i spot a model that i want to build and the supplier is Revell i will think twice .. was just an akward and uncomfortable build at times. but i got there in the end .... obviously trying to improve in all...

    hallo .. doing this at present .. need some advice .. the canopy is a bit ill fitting .. fine on one side and not on the other or the front . any suggestions on the best way to correct this .. all i can think of is putty but maybe there is another way ...? thks lindsey

    had this one for a while and i kept on putting it down the pecking order ... then decided to give it a go .. tremendous little kit to build ... the only issues i had were the decals and fitting the turret otherwise it was a very cool build ... gave the exotic camo a go and may need to smarten up...
