    Decals going down some better than others! The one on the tail looked like one of my nans old stockings at one point but seems to be settling after a litre of mig decal fix applied with a 0 brush and a few jabs with a pin.

    Mine as it looks right now as looked better/worse before. Wife calls it the "loveshack" Was planning a big upgrade new roof floor insulation ply panels and some laminate flooring but the lockdown as ground that to a halt.

    Hi everyone paints down and now under gloss. Today I had my very first attempt at heat staining and reasonably happy with my efforts. I’ll definitely be trying it again on my next jet build as I can only get better with practice. Thanks for looking in and any comments left. Cheers John

    Completed Tamiya 1/48 Focke Wulf Fw190A3

    1/72 Hobby Boss P47D "Big Ass Bird"

    Fast forward 9 months and we now have a painted finish. Just pondering if I should add the invasion stripes as per box art. Still needs a panel wash and a polish of the canopy as I sprayed it with gauzy agent which strangely dulled it.

    Bit of a leap forward on this one. Now under primer (AK) it went together very well with some minor filling and sanding along the way. Not a bad kit at all for £12 back in 2017
