A little progress during a busy week, i did aquire some thyme branches, and i went to my roots stash....playing with basic placements of main parts.... 1st pic you can see the "Name it" plate i ordered for this dio. I will trim and fettle the bocage hedgerow, then foliating them ..... thats...- Niho

Ok, things are gathering, my FoG scenics order came in, some more British figures. I've also got this set of decals coming, made for 1/56th-28mm wargaming figure but the should fit a 35th figure nicely. Ok best start on the figures and get the Panther seated onto groundwork. Niho- Niho

A day out at the Gravesham show yesterday, i bought a few things A nice Pz IV H and PE OVM set A pair of figs from Sovereign 2000 And when i got home 3 parcels were in my safe place. My FoG order arrived... I thought why not and ordered this, Some more British figs..... So i have more than... -

I have finished the Glacis plate this a.m. now curing off whilst I'm at work. And yes perfectly uneven, a man with a ladder did each side then they did centre section, hence the higgldy piggldy finish. Niho- Niho

A couple more eves doing zimmerit, only glacis left to do tonight. Happy days R/H turret side. L/H turret side. Lower glacis and ball mg mount This process has been fun, no worse that in 72nd, easier having the 'tools'. Niho- Niho

Up early, coffee and miliput superfine white lol..... Smearing it out with flat smooth tools dipped in water, left for 10mins, dampen zimmerit tool and carefully emboss. I did these areas first to get a handle on the putty and technique, probably won't be seen...... i found that keeping tool...- Niho

Fridays build progress, I've taken it to this point, a lot of small parts not added so i don't knock them off when handling. It's now ready for putty and zimmerit tools. This is a lovely kit. Rear turret plate not added, so i can zimm it then add to turret, i guess I'll have to use a homemade...- Niho
