    So I satarted this in 2015 and it ended up on the shelf of shame. I'm trying to get myself caught up on old projects ( some as always, need only a few evenings work to be completed ).. All NMM and painted with Vallejo and Citadel/GW acrylics. I'm maybe gonna remove a bit of the earth pigment...

    Better pictures on my old camera It needs a slight misting with a matt varnish to kill any shine but first I need to tackle those boots, felt and leather! :)

    It does but I'm just starting to use the Eos and I'm unfamiliar with the settings/menus etc. My old camera is a Fuji finepix HS20 and I know the settings/menus inside out.. Hence

    This figure has fought me at every step. It sits up on the edge of the rear door so I've lavished extra work on it too. Also trying a new camera out, EOS 1300d... Might need a longer lens and better manual settings....

    Two figures now in place, painting up 3 and 4 at the moment :) Not happy with the pictures atm, I think I need a bigger booth. This was designed for figures only, how will I fit a 1/16th tank in there? Next project is a luchs or a stug 3.... :D

    First figure in place. The paper is holding the steering wheel while pva dries. Next I'll remove the figure and really fix the steering wheel and do any touch ups required...

    Tamiya 1/12 street rider test paint

    Hi all! One of my local clubs have asked if I can do a painting demo so I dug out this lovely kit from Tamiya and did the helmeted head as a test paint. TThere's a second version of the head in the box so That'll be the one I do the demo on :) Tbh teh rivet things could be better but not sure...

    Apart from the steering wheel this is now finished. You may notice the bolt i've used to support the model, I decided that the weight of the figures might over time stress the suspension so I plan on mounting the kubel to the base and then adding the figures. Anyway, pictures :)

    Hi all! Finally an update! So apart from a couple of details ( oil and fuel stains, some light chipping to finish off and a final layer of dust on the windscreen), this part of the project is finished! Back to the figures next. I made a scenic base but hated it so made a plain black plinth...

    This is an old shelf queen that I got it into my head to finish! 9 years in the making! The head and the life vest were finished, everything else I've completed in the last week or so ... All is done with Vallejo Model colour and one pot of citadel :smiling3:

    This is where it all happens lol I extended the bench over the end of the room in lockdown as I wanted space for building seperate from where I paint my figures. The shelf of shame is visible too!
