A couple of bikes for you...

Time off at last
Finally got a couple of days off work. Not had a day off since 16th December (40 days). The joys of being a farm manger I suppose. Hopefully get a bit of bench time. -

WW2 Treasure hunters
Does anyone watch ww2Treasure hunters on history channel, monday nights at 9 o'clock? This week its about the hull blitz featuring a Boulton Paul Defiant. This was the first 1/48 model I ever made, previously I had only made 1/72. -

WW1 Kits
I normally build WW2 planes and the occasional tank or truck but with it being 100 tears since the end of WW1 I have been looking at kits for this era. Forgive me of my ignorance, but I would like to know why some tanks are 'male' and some 'female'. I have attempted bi planes a couple of times... -

Filler query...
I use humbrol model filler which I like as it sands down nice and paints over well. Is there any way this filler can be thinned abd applied with a brush for those hard to reach bits?- Peej

Window tint?????
A mate of mine is about to build his 1st kit for quite a number of years. He has decided on a tamiya Toyota Celica. He wants to do it so it looks like his celica. He asked me how he can tint the windows. I haven't got a clue so I thought I would ask you guys. Thank you in advance. -

Colour help
Hi all, this has probably been asked before but I am about to paint some german WW2 figures, the instructions say german field grey so I have looked for this colour and found that some is shown as grey but some is shown as green. Could someone be kind enough to enlighten me as to which is...- Peej

Vallejo paint...
I normally use revell paints but as my lms didn't have the colour I wanted I went for the vallejo equivalent. I have never used vallejo before. I am impressed with the coverage and lack of brushmarks. I shall have to get some more for the paint box.- Peej

Thinning acrylic paints
I brush paint with acrylics. I have recently started using revell paints. These can be a bit on the thick side so I have been thinning them with tap water. Is this ok or am I just diluting the paint? Should I be using a thinner of some description?- Peej

Music while building
Just had a couple of hours at the bench, building and listening to music, which got me thinking if any members listen to music while building. Tonight it was Scorpions. Two more of my favourites are Paloms Faith and Rag n Bone Man. -

Filler help
On my current build I have a gap that needs to be filled. Is there a filler I can use that will not need sanding as it will not be possible to do so with were the gap is? Thanking you in advance. -

Hi I'm back....
I am finally getting sorted after moving back to Bomber County from Norfolk. I have got the bench up and running. It's a little full with a 1/400 Titanic at the mo. Got all the models out of the packing paper and arranged on a shelf. There is one missing though, my Lancaster didn't make the... -

liquid mask
I have just seen an advert in a modelling magazine for liquid mask. The ad was vague about what this product is for although it is apparently becoming very popular. I have never come across it before and was hoping for some enlightenment about it.- Peej

On the move....
I have had to pack all the modelling kit away as we are moving house. We are going back home to "Bomber County" (Lincolnshire), after just over a year in Norfolk. All the finished kits are carefully wrapped in tissue paper and boxed up. All the other stuff and unmade kits are in another big box... -
