WW2 US colours
I thought these may be of Interest they are pictures of a freeze in Greenway house (Agatha Christie's summer house) painted by a US Navy officer in US navy paint when they occupied it during the war. Dave- BBdave

Yes I think it's new tool it looks to be good all the small bits are fitting well I've not tried the larger bits yet. 2 coats of yellow in. Dave- BBdave

Finally I got to open the box up it all looks most excellent I've had a quick look at the instructions looks like I can build it with the rotors folded which could be fun. Mobius and Revell Colonial Viper
I have two kits which will make one good Viper the Mobius rear end is good and the Revell front end is good so I will join the two respective good ends. Here are the noses the revell on the right is closer to the correct length, I have several pictures of the original prop models so have...- BBdave

I have put the Decals on I used Vallejo decal fix and medium it's the first time I've used anything but water, they did seem to lay better over panel lines etc. I have done a little weathering mixing some of the black with a little light grey I'm now putting some matt coat on before anymore...- BBdave

I have sprayed the top coats on which was really tricky over black primer but it seemed to turn out ok now the gloss coat is on ready for decaling in the morning.- BBdave

I had a little setback I put a finger print in the landing light glass so I gave it a light sand then polished with metal polish which has almost fixed it a little more work should sort it. Phew! Before After Dave- BBdave

Not a great deal has been going on what with car trouble and starting my garage conversion Into my model room. I thought I would make an effort in the cockpit not my favourite job maybe the main reason I avoid aircraft. Dave- BBdave

My dad has given me this kit as he has a few beaufighter kits and as I want to improve my aircraft building I accepted it gratefully. I think it'll be interesting painting and weathering it in nightfighter colours. Dave- BBdave
