    I seem to have found a way - needs a little bit more up the middle though - just to accentuate it, and the rest of the 'road' laid, bit more work on the walls - then it'll be time for me to see how well I've taken on board how to do water! Keep putting it off!

    As a thought, the turrets and firing when traversed and elevated, could that be done by having a track for the 'breech' with contact points for the leccy at the ends of it? Got an image in my mind of it, but trying to explain - something like this (back of envelope sketch)

    First 'layer' almost done - needs tidying up, might change some areas into rock-faces, as not really happy with the slopes that are appearing (and I might as well use the last bit of oak up!) - top left & middle bottom are the two areas I'm not too happy with. Then there's the 'flat area'...

    Now getting the contours in and finding levels, also finding out just how smaller space I'm going to have for the figures and vehicles - dropped the towed PAK, so a bit more space to play with. Looks a right mess at the moment - had to 'widen' the uphill side road (good old Paint Shop Pro)...
