Not according to the instructions, only two had to be drilled on the smaller deck part. All the rest are pre drilled it would appear. Whether they need opening up remains to be seen but that should not cause a problem if necessary.- Defiant911

Ok, so after some Perseverance I have managed to get all three colours back on the hull and this time without bleeds. Yep, rubbed down as best I could and re sprayed the hull red and black pin stripe. Next will be the final grey again and well See if I have the same issues again.- Defiant911

Hey, don’t worry, I’ve gone off topic so Many times I can just about remember myself. This ones turning into a bit of an education . Sadly for me I used some varnish which obviisly went on too runny which then run under the tape and left sticky shiny streaks at every spar it passed over...- Defiant911

I sprayed up the grey part of the hull and dry fixed the wood just to get a feel of how it may be. Sadly the hull Red has seeped through onto my black pin stripe which I suspected would happen as I probably loaded the red a bit too much. Can anyone help with these instructions. I find some of these PE parts difficult to see how they fit. Take the attached picture below. Revised hull colour. Going to give it a coat of Matt varnish once paint is cured and then move on to grey colour. I think going by the general consensus this is most likely closer to what it may have been.- Defiant911

I might cause some controversy here but the wood decking I ordered and was expected around March has arrived early. I have checked the thinness and it measures 0.22mm with a vernier. put a coat of grey primer followed by a coat of Flat black. Also had a go at some PE for one of the ship Parts. It looks ok without my glasses on but a little bendy in places with. Definitely Not easy trying to Bend around so many corners. Depending how it looks when primed I may rip it off...- Defiant911

Tamiya 1/48 Avro Lancaster B Mkiii
engine covers now in place. With a bit of clamping they fit ok although there are some gaps which I will try to fill and sand before priming. I left the engines out as I was t going to have the engine covers open. I did make one engine up just because it seemed a shame not to.- Defiant911
