Bird Watching a Relaxing Hobby
Took a little boat trip to Coquet Island in Northumberland yesterday to see the Puffin Colony! Difficult buggers to catch on the wing with a little point and shoot from a very rocky boat !! Also many Eider ducks and very rare Rosete Terns- tigersteve

Kawasaki 900 Z1 - Aoshima 1/12
A real memory from my childhood - always loved these early superbikes. This kit is the American version, not as good quality as Tamiya . There are different options too, to build a custom version (alloy wheels and 4 into 1 exhaust etc.) I just went for the standard model from 1973.- tigersteve

There has been quite a delay as I had to buy new decals from Italy as the old ones were beyond saving ( I did have a play with them ! ) The originals were designed to be applied to an all white body but the new ones require blue painted sides etc. The epoxy worked fine and all was well with a...- tigersteve

I found this very old model bought from Italy on Ebay going cheap. Tatty box but complete - the decals have a little cracking on them but hopefully will go on OK . Just about done now - been a long time completing as I have been locked down away from modelling ! Build thread below . I doubt I will choose another Black car to play with the paint work shows every imperfection of which there are many ! Not too bad in the end with just Tamiya aerosol .- tigersteve

Just about ready for the body work . Unsure whether to try to fit it to the chassis first , it is a very tight fit by the feel of it. Paint first and risk damage as I attempt to fit it up, or fit up and risk getting paint on the inside ? Obviously I would mask the inside as best as possible...- tigersteve
