    Undercarriage assembly, as pointed out earlier, was fiddly and I have a warped wing strut on the left which is pushing my wheel bay about a bit. Some hack and slash and Ive sorted it. Also the engine covers don’t fit great on this model, Airfix Lancaster BII. Anyway, we are where we are, flaps...

    Lancaster Ideas...

    My BII build is coming on, slowly due to delayed filler. Now my mind has turned to panel lines. I’m thinking first paint, 4b pencil smudge in panel lines for pre shading, finish paint, gloss varnish, wash panel lines, Matt varnish, chipping. Is that a good order of things?

    Lancaster build stalled...

    My model filler won’t be here until next Friday! Not this Friday...next Friday! So I’ve been busy having a go with some washes for my undercarriage bays. Got some Citadel Nuln Oil wash. Dirty! Next a little chipping and then stick the wings on.
