U.S M8 Light Armored Car Greyhound (Tamiya 1/35)
Been a bit busy lately with Things and experiencing on not ruining models at last stage anyway finally made some progress. Struggled with the tamiya XF 2 white. Will be messing with wash soon, it’s gonna be inside so not too worried.- Matt.

Spray booth lighting
Unfortunately not enough room indoors for my spray booth. I steel my daughters room when she’s at uni but I’m on the dining room table when she comes home so I have my small spray booth in an outbuilding with zero natural light. Quick update on some more experimenting, quick paint and varnish on mosquito wings Left to right Winsor and Newton Galeria - Good glossy finish but effected by enamel thinners. Struggled with 0.35 nozzle as it’s quite thick. VMS - not quite as glossy but still ok, feels totally hard and not...- Matt.

Varnish, wash, thinner mismatch
Bit embarrassed after ruining another model after spending tens of hours on it. After a bit of advice on varnish, washes and cleaning off washes, thought I’d done enough research, apparently not. (Was) Going great, happy with this so far, at this stage I would usually apply a matt lacquer but determined to improve I then tried using a panel line wash and got it wrong. These pics are before I b*gg*#@d it up.- Matt.

Tamiya 1/35 Sherman Easy Eight
Hi Jakko, it’s this kit, no idea if it’s new or not, the way it went together I would say it’s new as there were no fit issues whatsoever. I am definitely going to have a go at muddying and weathering the next one, never tried it and I was worried about making a complete mess of things.- Matt.

Been a while, since building anything, decided to build this Christmas present to the end regardless of any mistakes, made quite a few such as painting the seat frames wrong colour, bonnet decal not centred, not cleaning metallic paint out of airbrush before varnishing, snapping the wing mirror...- Matt.

Instrument panel help
Hi, i’m Making slow progress on mosquito and about to start the cockpit. Not having or wanting to purchase PE items I’m wondering what most would do on the instrument panel. File the surface flat and apply decal or try and set over the raised instruments, I’ve applied over the raised instruments...- Matt.
