Not done much to the diorama today, but did a little bit late last night, finalising the paint to the partial building, eg: bits of debris, old timbers, rocks (to the rear and inside portion of the building) and put a mild grime wash on the whitewashed walls to knock them back a bit. The action man one was not as detailed though! I do seem to remember that me and my mate, (he had an action man tank too) use to sit on them and ride them round like a sort of go cart and try to race each other. They were quite sturdily built....think I was about, erm, 10 ish?- pjgtech

Still beavering away at this little tank in between also working on the desert dio. Added the green wire to the rear spool, managed to break the little PE frame during the process and ended taking the whole spool off, removing the frame, adding the wire, then refixing the frame, then refixing...- pjgtech

Cleared the base of all excess and loose coverings, sand, small rocks, etc after a good shake, also added a couple of small bits of green, looks a lot less cluttered and messy now IMHO. At the moment, the "inside" of the (partial) building is just empty and plain, a grey tiled/concrete floor, thats it. Its supposed to be a damaged building, whether that be from war damage, or just neglect....So might just add a few bits of rubble, old planks, tiles, etc to the inside area, to...- pjgtech

Doh! Tried to attached the exhaust guard earlier to the chassis side, but, it did not line up? After looking at it and scratching my head, checking the instructions, and repeat a few times... I finally realised that here's a small curved cut-out on one side of the guard, as it sits very close to...- pjgtech

Tamiya Extra Thin, whats the difference?
For me, the cost (especially of scale model adhesive) is not much of an issue TBH, as I do tend to spend a fair bit on all my hobbies, and I have other hobbies that cost way more than Scale modelling! Lol....- pjgtech

Hmm, will have a hunt around for a tealight, I'm sure the Wife has some stashed somewhere. I do have my old (but still working) portable gas bottle in the garage, which I used to use for soldering copper pipe/fittings back in the day, but I reckon that might be overkill! Lol...- pjgtech

Todays little update... Most small bits now primed and painted on the sprue. Wheels now assembled. First very light, very thin, almost a mist coat on the main tank chassis and turret.
