Exactly this. This is identical to what I do. After all, once you have the paint out of the inside of the pipette you can wipe/scrape the stuff off the outside once it’s dry because it doesn’t adhere well to polythene.- Tim Marlow

Not something I’ve ever done myself, so good luck. However, if you can get them in clear a couple of coats of Tamiya clear blue paint will give you the colour you want.- Tim Marlow

I would think the red would be based on red lead, so scarlet would be closer? However, from an aesthetic point of view the India red looks very good.- Tim Marlow

Thanks Peter. I have several years of gradual mobility degradation to counter and rebuild from, so am building back carefully. However it’s nice to know I can do things without the risk of dislocation or damage.- Tim Marlow

Well, with the size of me, and the age of most of our punters, I would probably send some of them to hospital LOL…. Must admit it’s gone really quickly. Last post on this because I was passed fully fit on Monday. That means seven weeks after my hip replacement surgery I am classed as completely healed and able to go back to normal life, carrying moderate weights and moving the hip joint in any way that is natural.
