    What's on the Bench 2024

    Currently on my bench. Rebuilding my older brothers 1972 build of his AMT Autocar DC9965B. Bill built this in 1972 gave the model to me in 2010. Now I’m going to try to do it some justice.

    I Got mostly from my Dad he lived in that time frame. He also was a Trucker back in the early 50s to the late 90s so that helped too. He drove a truck identical to this Mack H around 1963 that’s where I got the inspiration to build this one.

    Here’s some I’ve received over the last week. There’s more but I’ll post later. This is another present my oldest daughter bought for me for Father’s Day it just arrived this week from the UK

    What flew over your house (yesterday)

    Last week this old Piper Cub flew over sorry couldn’t get a great pic of him colors were Red and Yellow. He flew north pic over the garage then a couple minutes later flew back south that’s when I got a little better pic of him.

    Painted there faces and did some light weathering on them and the gun. I need to do some small touch up painting on some spots. I added them to the truck and it’s about time to start the diorama.

    Tonight I painted a base coat on the Fig’s for this build I have decided to make a Diorama for it as well.

    This morning I put a Mineral feeder on the Stall divider and cleaned the Stalls out. I use Baking Soda and Sheep Mineral in their diet. The Baking Soda helps with their digestion Sheep Mineral has Salt and other Minerals that they need. Probably going to introduce Sulfur to their diet to help...

    Me neither Jakko just boost the mojo to push on with this build. I think the Pegasus is kinda out of scale they are known for having a little larger scale stuff in 1/72 that I’ve seen and read on reviews. Or maybe it’s a Different Landing Craft for Bigger stuff
