Geoffs Airfix 1/48 North American F-86F Sabre.

Good choice. Shame about the clear parts being scuffed but, as you say, should scrub up ok with a bit of effort. I'd wait until this heat wave is over 😄😁😄

    Chipping lacquer paint.

Thanks guys. No matter the question this forum guarantees quick, polite and helpful answers. When this heatwave ends I think I'll have to spend a day or two experimenting.

    Chipping lacquer paint.

Thanks Chris. I suspected that might be the case.

    Chipping lacquer paint.

I've never had a lot of success using hair spray chipping - too unpredictable and inconsistent results. However I do get on with dedicated chipping fluids. My question is will they work with lacquer paints like MRP or SMS? If I prime then base coat with MRP, add a layer of chipping fluid and...

Tamiya SAS Jeep 1/35 finished pics

Well that is certainly a result to be proud of. Really well done. Figures are superb.

    Still trying.

Still trying - that's all that any of us do. Good days/bad days, success/failure, satisfied/dissatisfied - all part of the hobby. Only two things really matter and they are have fun and learn from each build. Look forward to following your progress.

    Brian's Caldercraft 1/72 HMS Victory

That is a superb model. A huge amount of money, time, skill and patience went into it. I would certainly try an auction house and a specialist magazine, as has been suggested, before putting it on eBay. A buyer collects listing will limit the bidding but something like this cannot be safely sent...

You have to wonder whether this photo is really appropriate for a forum where it may be viewed by children and those of a delicate nature.😁😄😁😄

    That's a great result.

    Gern's Battlefront Miniatures Sherman M4A1

A lot of detail for something so small. I have often thought that these very small scale models could be used in a busy dio and still keep the overall size manageable.

    All done

Good news John. I'm now on 3 monthly checks for 2 years and then 6 monthly for another 3 years. So far all's well and I'm almost at the two year mark. I get very nervous in the week before the check up but when I'm told "All fine, see you in 3 months" I skip out of the hospital with a big...
