    Joe's Trumpeter 1/72 Mig-29C Fulcrum

This will be my contribution to "Neil's Blooming Mig's everywhere GB". The kit looks nice, but I think I'm going to be looking at other manufacturers' instruction sheets for construction and paint guidance. The Trumpeter instructions look very vague! The box is crumpled as I have had crammed...

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

I have discovered that I very much dislike painting large white areas. This morning I looked at it again, and saw some areas that I think were a bit thin. Shadows play tricks on an overall white surface, seemingly no matter the amount of lighting put on it. Using the last of my lacquer white, I...

Andrew's 1/48 Indian Air Force Spitfire XVIII - Completed

A fantastic finish Andrew. Looks very smart and unique in the Indian Air Force colours. Also interesting to read the history of that Spitfire, glad to hear it is still taking to the air and thrilling anyone who has the pleasure of seeing it fly.

    Fujimi 1/72 junkers Ju87 B-2 Trop Stuka

Cheers Pete, glad you like it. Cheers Paul, I like it too, but the dusting and fading I did is pretty much obliterated by the photos. Maybe I should have used more contrast, maybe a brown rather than a buff sandy shade. Cheers Tony. Yeah, you're not wrong about the canopy work. I like the...

    Fujimi 1/72 junkers Ju87 B-2 Trop Stuka

Cheers Steve. I need some Allied desert fighters to keep this lot at bay. Cheers Jim. Masking is not the most enjoyable part of the build, that is for sure. Cheers Steven. Yes, it looks menacing even when parked Cheers Chris. It is vulture-like  Thanks. The remaining two are 1/72 scale...

    Neil's Eduard 1/48 Mig-21 PF

Nice choice Neil, the Mig-21 is a truly iconic Cold War fighter. I doubt anyone would ever notice that the cockpit additions are for another version.

Mr Bowcat's AMT Shelby Mustang GT-350 - Geoffers' US Icon's GB

The kit might have fought you Bob, but you won the war. Looks fabulous, especially in that blue colour.

    Fujimi 1/72 junkers Ju87 B-2 Trop Stuka

On a basic display I created years ago for a Bf109G-2 build. With its desert brethren in my display cabinet. It is amazing how large the Ju87 is when compared to the Bf109, or even the Bf110.

    Fujimi 1/72 junkers Ju87 B-2 Trop Stuka

Build thread here: https://www.scalemodelling.co.uk/threads/1-72-fujimi-junkers-ju87r-2-trop-stuka.1276838/ My last Fujimi Stuka, this one representing a Ju87B-2 Trop coded S1+HK, flying with 2.StG.3 out of Derna in Libya, late 1941. All OOB except for the seat harnesses (which can't really be...

1/72 Fujimi Junkers Ju87R-2 Trop Stuka

Managed a few hours today completing some details and weathering. I also used chalk powder to simulate some dust around areas on the airframe, and on the wheels. The Stuka is pretty much completed now.

    Joe's Academy 1/72 F-16C Thunderbirds

The F-16 has received its white paint. The exhaust sections have been painted and are awaiting pin washes. I'll pick out detail in the landing gear bay next, and then I can gloss the airframe before moving on to the decal sheet to give this white beast some colour. I need to buy more white paint...
