    Papa695s Airfix 1/72 Vickers Wellington Mk.1A/C

A 'Second Pilot' was usually a new pilot gaining experience alongside an experienced combat crew before going on to their own command. The second pilot would have had a position close to the pilot somewhere. After 1942 the crew position of second pilot was replaced by a flight engineer on...

    Papa695s Airfix 1/72 Vickers Wellington Mk.1A/C

Work of art on the interior Ian, I hope that some of it may be visible when you seal the fuselage up. Good work on the damage.

    AS 42 Sahraiana

I don't think any of us are completely happy with any of our builds Paul. Give it a month on the shelf, and when you look at it again, with all the build defects only you knew were there are forgotten, you will see it as others do. Great job, I love the look you have achieved with it.

    Warhammer 40k Shokkjump Dragsta

Well that's something very different Andy. Love it, there will be no problems with being overtaken. The characters are funny, the one on the exhaust is in for a very uncomfortable ride with longterm consequences for both his feet and his family lineage

BOATMANS B58 HUSTLER IN 148th scale with lights

Looking good Chris. For the burnt metal effects, start with a gun-metal metallic, then lightly dry brush using lighter metallics, such as aluminium or steel to pick out the detail. Then go to town with a rust wash and/or you can use powders or pigments to create variations in the finish, colours...

The cherry wood is looking great Brian, a vast improvement over the laser-cut appearance. It's a nice wood to work with.

    Chrome Covering Removal

So dirt cheap beaches are best for this task? I've got a few chrome or silver plated moulds that will need stripping too. I've stripped decades-old enamel paint and primer using oven cleaner, but never chrome
