We needed to do a bit of filling, not huge gaps, but basically every join needed some work, Lol! As this is another guinea pig for my AB adventure, I have decided to go in-flight mode, so less "bits" to worry about, so have made some undercarriage doors, to cover the opening. Yes, I know these have a terrible reputation, old moulds, poor fit, lacking detail, gaps, etc. So I thought yeah, lets do that one, Lol! :LOL: These were cheap from Lidl, so another ideal guinea pig candidate for practising with my new AB. I was thinking maybe something metallic, aluminium...- pjgtech

You can also buy resin specific glues, eg: VMX, but it looks like they are just overpriced CA glues to me?- pjgtech

I try to avoid PE if I'm honest, most of it is far too small and fiddly for my sausage like fingers, Lol. But on the few occasions I have used it I have used CA (super glue) and I also bought some PE specific glue, (see pic) which is probably just CA but with a different label on the bottle!- pjgtech

Initial airbrush thoughts.....
Added a little "Acme" type shelf to the top of my AB spray booth, handy for all those ancillary bits and bobs... (y) Made from cardboard, packing tape and double sided sticky tape, it would not look our of place on Blue Peter, Lol.....:LOL: -
So what about the future, modelling and other matters.
Good news on the health front, nice one, and some very nice kits there, I look forward to seeing your progress mate.... :)(y) -

So before painting what would be your prep> eg: go over with a blower, gentle brush off, wipe down with alcohol wipe, damp cloth, etc?- pjgtech

Dunno what they are for, but they are on the destructions and the decal sheet, so I put them on... See photo of the rear of the box, sorry not best pic, but the arrow is there (in red highlighted area).- pjgtech

Having now used my new AB for a few days, had a bit of practice and actually painted a model with it, what do I think? A few things that always put me off getting an AB have turned out not to be an issue. I thought they would be very difficult to use and take months (or even years) to get to...
