    Well, I decided to scrap the build. Have kept the base and the T34 along with some roof timbers that were cut. With my wife suffering from dementia, I can't concentrate. For the moment I shall watch others and consider whats next. Such is life. John.

    Welcome to the forum Peter 57. Have to agree with your suggestion of building a 1/48 plane. Ship building while it might appeal but the use of resin and then plastic along with PE could put you off from modellng completely. I have sympathy with your sight as I had a detached retina some...

    Thanks Jim, glad some one else remembers those articles as well. I printed them off, and when the book came out, it was a natural choice.
