    Hobbycraft needs to catch them first. identify them as the perpetrator, not bother with the police but charge them for every kit defaced. If they refuse then get the police to charge them with criminal damage.

    I have come to this a bit late, but if you are still looking, go on to Barnwell the Badger distributor in the UK. They run airbrushing courses and sell off ex class used airbrushes at very reasonable cost that they will have checked out before selling on.
