    I would go for as good a set up as you can afford then. Cheaper brushes will struggle to keep a consistent line so will be frustrating with some freehand camo work.

    Exactly this. This is identical to what I do. After all, once you have the paint out of the inside of the pipette you can wipe/scrape the stuff off the outside once it’s dry because it doesn’t adhere well to polythene.

    I would think the red would be based on red lead, so scarlet would be closer? However, from an aesthetic point of view the India red looks very good.

    Thanks Peter. I have several years of gradual mobility degradation to counter and rebuild from, so am building back carefully. However it’s nice to know I can do things without the risk of dislocation or damage.
