I got well, and sooner than I thought 😄

May go dark for a little while

Well, with the size of me, and the age of most of our punters, I would probably send some of them to hospital LOL…. Must admit it’s gone really quickly. I do tend to think of these things as three days, three weeks, and three months. Three days is purgatory as the operation pain comes out...

May go dark for a little while

I wish Tony LOL. It was about the only thing I was told not to do, jump off of lorrys carrying heavy loads. I just laughed because I’m certainly not built for that.

May go dark for a little while

Last post on this because I was passed fully fit on Monday. That means seven weeks after my hip replacement surgery I am classed as completely healed and able to go back to normal life, carrying moderate weights and moving the hip joint in any way that is natural. First practice with the band...

    Too bloody hot!!!

Water retention. The loss was because you were not keeping hydrated while lolling about. The gain was because you were while doing those activities. After all, a half pint mug of tea weighs half a pound and you probably have around eight of those a day, plus liquid in your food. If I get a...

    Brian's Sovereign of the seas

I agree with Neil. Probably invisible at normal viewing distances, and the rigging will stop anyone getting in too close…. Deck looks good, by the way.

You and me both. Afternoons are an absolute write off, just too hot to do anything.

That’s going really well John. Horse has come out nicely.

    what are you watching ?

They have done for years John. Personally I think one of the only redeeming features of Wimbledon coverage is John McEnroe commentating. He combines excellent knowledge and humour.

    what are you watching ?

Enjoy a good footy match myself. The bad ones I just turn off. Don’t get Wimbledon at all though. Why does it completely overwhelm the BBC schedule? Must be on for twenty hours a day…..followed by a highlight programme. Irredeemable tedium to me I’m afraid.

    what are you watching ?

Now that is a great film. Very highly regarded by the Titanic survivors themselves apparently and based on the Walter Lord book that is a definitive resource of the event. The 1997 film is a visual treat though.

Mania models 1/72 mitsubishi ki 51 Sonia

That has worked really well. Great job Tony. How easy is it to clean afterwards? Pity it’s GSW world, I don’t use their products. Might look for an alternative though.
