    Another polishing question.....

    ....... Cos i really dont know Ive never been one for polishing cos ive been happy with how things have turned out but i want to try it.... So i bought some tamiya fine compound and some lint free cloths......... But what the order of things? Do i polish the paint to get it smooth then clear...

    The masking tape lifted a lot of the black primer so had to do a lot of freehand touching up in all of the colours Next step is let it harden, coat of clear to seal it, decals, a wash then matt coat to dull it all down

    Hope you like dusting 😆 Going to need more shelves soon..... Have you thought about one of those tall glass displays from ikea..... Not a very big footstep but can hold a lot especially if you buy extra shelves

    Welcome to the retired club I will second what peter says..... Keep yourself busy....... And if you are used to working outdoors take up going for long walks regulary or you will miss the fresh air and daylight You might want to note how quick it takes you to get used to not having to get up...

    Heres the plan Primed in black....... Masked with 1mm tape random shapes..... No way can i follow the pattern on the box lol...... Then fill in the spaces with sandy yellow/green/brown/bluey grey Fingers crossed the black dosnt lift

    Finally something to show...... Its tiny!........... Theres no location points..... All the panel have a 45 degree angle to make the joint.... Its all a bit vague..... But im ready to start painting

    In the 50s in germany it would almost certainly been a centurian...... Cromwell/comets were phased out by early 50s Likewise shermans would have been gone too..... Murican stuff in europe at that time would hav been like M47/M48.... Maybe M60
