    Not a lot done on this......once I figure out the bulkheads and cargo doors, I'll get the underside of the fuselage glued in place and then squirt some paint on the interior that will be visible from the open doors.

    Painted and detailed these Opels, made some tarps out of single ply Kleenex tissue.....first attempt with this stuff. I normally use tissue for wrapping gifts.....it too is single ply but much thicker and not as absorbent as Kleenex. With the Kleenex, you can achieve a more "relaxed" look but...

    I managed to get most of the fuselage apart as I need to cut in a cargo door so only the horizontal and vert. stab is in place and the gear is built up. the second shot is the inspiration for what I was thinking of trying to re create.......sort of.

    I've been working on the Base for my Tuskegee Dio......all the greenery is down and giving it a chance to set a little before attacking the "Taxiway/Runway" with a combination of fine ballast and earth. I need it to represent a firmly compacted dirt strip.
