    The first 2 just seemed to soak in to the matt Peter so I kept applying a coat until I could see a decent gloss layer. Don't forget I use an airbrush so my coats go on very thinly whereas you brush apply.

    It does have a slight dihedral on it Wabble. I don't think it is far off the image you have posted. The gap I thought it was going to have was only evident when I did a dry run assembly at the start of the build. Once everything was glued into place correctly the large gap never materialised...

    Someone else has joined the group build with a kit that had already been started. I think Colin is happy for people to just get stuck in and have fun. Be great to have another 1/32 Spitfire on the go and if it gets another half build project completed then that has to be a good thing.

    They have turned out brilliantly Andy. How you worked on the 1/144 is beyond me. The detail on that model actually makes it look bigger but according to internet its only about 2.5 inches long. Great building.

    Did some work on the exhaust pipes. The pipes come in two halves that are joined to make a single unit. Had to take the locating pins off to get something of a reasonable fit but with some tidying up they should make a good looking exhaust. At least you get an exhaust with hollowed out pipes...
