    Scary Moments

The basement is off limits to her and not by my choice, she has a phobia about going below ground level :sneaky:

    Pushy Cat

Thanks Joe, I have made some military vehicles converted to civilian use but no real civilian vehicles. Some whacky halftrack conversions on the way. Maybe I'll look into getting a civilian farm tractor or something similar. Jim.

    M32 tank recovery vehicle

Thanks guys, she's an oldie but goodie, built around 30 or so years ago.

    Pushy Cat

Thanks Rick, actually to my surprise only a few basic hydraulic lines were included, the steel cylinder lines were scratch and all engine fuel, water and oil lines were also scratched up. Jim.

    M32 tank recovery vehicle

The famous M32 operated in every theater in WWII, Korea and has been imported to many countries. Some are even in operation today.

    Behemoth

A continuation of previous post that for some reason like me hitting the wrong key was cut short.😖 Anyway, my point was that we all should be vigilant against such flights of fantasy by our so called leaders and never allow ourselves to be led into such nation wrecking tragedies. Whether it be...

    Behemoth

Thanks guys, yes it does look menacing and yes the pillbox mentality was in play. But the irony of it all was the fact that even though the German penchant for logical practicality and engineering excellence was thrown out the window when it came to Hitler's dilusional aspirations is an enigma...

SOVIET T12 HOBBY BOSS KIT IN 1/35 SHOT UP IN A VILLAGE

Great work as usual John, and a lovely garden, when I look out my window at my "lovely" garden all I see is snow :( Jim🥶

    Brute Force

That is true Joe but speed and acceleration can only be achieved with petrol and there is no history of any M60 ever brewing up during countless combat encounters over the decades.

    Hummel

Thanks Joe, I thought I would keep this one simple and not load it up with a bunch of junk or I was too lazy at the time.....one of those

    Super Pershing

Thanks, it's a bit of a shame that they were held back in the states for a while for what they claimed were "logistical" reasons because they thought the war would be over before they got there. The fact that the Germans held on longer than expected was not foreseen. Many US tankers perished...

    Dragon Wagon

Thanks Joe, a thin wash of light brown applied to seams and where one would expect dust and debri to adhere A bit of rust color and a mix of a darker brown with a bit of black creates a grimy look.

    Brute Force

This vehicle played a huge part in Viet Nam, moving in behind one was a secure feeling but the exhaust from the rear panels was impossible to get too close to and if that supercharged petrol engine decided to burp you would be flung like a ragdoll devoid of any hair and hearing for the...

    Behemoth

Yes Jim, there were many more on the boards including the Ratte or Rat, a 1,000 ton landship hosting a naval turret with twin 280mm guns and a host of anti aircraft guns of 20mm. A crew of 30 to 40 men and even bathroom facilities. Albert Speer put the nix on the project as being divorced from...

    Brute Force

The M60 A3 was the last variant of this legendary machine with innovative sighting and targeting systems. It has enjoyed massive importation and has fought in many theaters under many flags. It is still an integral part of many militaries worldwide.

    Behemoth

The Jagdtiger or Hunting tiger was yet another waste of everything germany was desperately short of. It was the heaviest AFV to see combat during WWII weighing in at 72 tons. Severely underpowered and too heavy for most bridges, prone to mechanical breakdowns and unmaintainable in the field. It...

    T34/85

Thank you, the T34 certainly was an original design and a real shock to the Germans. It's sloped armor, wide tracks, diesel engine and in this later version the 85mm gun made it more than a match even for the Panther and Tiger series whose petrol engines froze in the brutal Russian winter...
