    I back flush but not by covering the nozzle. My needle cap has holes around it and so it's hard to cover. I loosen the needle cap and nozzle cap slightly.     Well done. All looking good. You certainly seem to be getting the hang of your airbrush. Definitely use the needle limiter. It just makes life a lot easier. As for priming with a 0.3 needle - if it works then fine.

    I fixed the boat into place using 2 part epoxy. I used Sculptamold + PVA to put in the basic swell of the sea.     I have only ever used Iwata. Only ever had one tube which is still going strong. Although there is no evidence I imagine that if the seals which the needle goes through are lubricated they will last longer and seal better. Makes sense to me.😄
