Another day off today so flying through the build. Very sore arm still, but not hindering too much. A fair bit of fiddling with the cab, which I think I am now happy with. Here it is with the roof balanced on. Will leave off for now anyway, for painting and weathering, so gives the opportunity...- Jack L

Thanks all for the early interest. Bit of a sore arm this evening after my first Covid jab, but still managed some progress, mostly sanding and filling. Boiler halves together, generally a good fit but did need some Mr Dissolved Putty run along the seam and some sanding. Figure in for scale...- Jack L

My latest Dio has just gone on steroids with a great deal on this: Found online for a price too good to be true from 1001 models, with the contact details somewhere in the UK. Got nervous when the payment receipt was in French from a Paris address, as was the shipping address but fair enough... -

I'm after a one week trial membership to the TBC. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to cancel after that due to inilegability. Anyway finally had time to set up in the new loft. Tamiya 1/35 German Cargo Truck

Changing Paint consistency
Does/Can paint consistency change mid use? Been painting the cremeweiss on the interior as show (Mig Ammo paint + vallejo thinner + vallejo flow improver, no idea what ratio), and for the majority, the paint was perfect. After a couple of months of zero interest in modelling, it’s creeping back! And the Toons are doing the trick...Inspiration and guidance from @Pete Low and tutorials from @Steve Jones have got me going again. Oh and a new modelling cave! Bit of a production line on the go. -

Sorry...MIA for a couple of days. Been fighting off a migraine which affect vision in my left eye. Have managed a bit here and there before I go cross eyed, and think I have something that looks passable. A tarp WIP to cover the area that might catch the wrong attention.- Jack L
