Am now adding the shoring timber to the inside of the trench, I've seen a few photos and they seemed to be all different, but fairly basic timber shoring used. I want it to look rustic, so not all perfectly lined up, etc... Tooth picks with the pointy ends snipped off seem to be the perfect...- pjgtech

Airfix 1/76 scale WW1 Male MK1 tank
Ok I am now calling this one done.... The tank has had a further mud wash, and I have also added some of my new wet clear wash, which gives the tracks and rear wheels a nice wet mud look IMHO. I have never built one of these before and it was a nice, quick and easy build.... Few pics, and then...- pjgtech

I'm no paint expert mate, and I try not to get too anal about whether its perfect or not, so as long as it looks ok to me, then it'll be reet, as our Northern Brethren would say.... Looks fine to me.- pjgtech

Latest Acquisitions (2026)
Couple of parcels turned up today... One from our very own SMS, (Thanx John!) with some new mud paste x 2 types, and a wet look type paste that simulates puddles, etc and some replacement primer.... And then an order from the Bay of Flea..... some 1/72 scale WW1 British troops, ideal for my WWI... -

Got my new mud paste today, so added a bit of that... and alos now have some "wet" look paste, to simulate puddles, etc, so added a bit of that too. Its not dry yet, so we'll see what it looks like after a decent amount of time to let it set/dry....- pjgtech

Dry fit of the walking boards, I figured it would be a bit agricultural and not made/fitted by master Carpenters, so gaps would be more realistic, etc.... They will prolly get another coat of paint, probably another shade of brown/beige to mix it up a bit and then will be stuck down. I have also...- pjgtech
