discussion U.S.Icons Group Build - Do’s and Don’ts

Welcome All,

Big thanks to Ian for sorting out the thread for us.

Here are the rules for the group build which will run from 1st June 26 - 31st August 26.

1/ Any subject/genre/ time period and any scale as long as it was built in the United States or used by the US military/ law enforcement /commerce etc. So from Wild West Stagecoach to Stealth fighter, Mayflower to Hot Rod, the more iconic the better please.

2/ Model must be complete and un-started before we kick this off.

3/ Obviously you will need to start a build thread showing the progress of your build.
Your thread must start with pictures of the un-started kit.

4/ Build thread title to include kit brand,scale and subject.

5/ Dioramas are allowed but remember you only have 3 months. If you think you can get it done in that timeframe bring it on .

6/ NO politics - World events have certainly taken a turn for the worse since I originally proposed this GB, with the U.S. heavily involved. No doubt we all have own views on this but to avoid any bad feeling let’s just keep the chat to modelling topics please .

6/ I think that just about covers it but any questions just please just ask.

7/ Not a rule more of a wish - Enjoy the GB, YeeHa

Already got two planned........ A space shuttle and a 1/35 M4 Sherman but still got plenty of time for plans to change

There are so many possibilities for this but I'm struggling to come up with something. Hopefully inspiration will hit before the start
